Don’t take your dog here

I do not like leaving reviews and would prefer to not to this, but I was absolutely HORRIFIED with the way my dog was treated, on camera, for over an hour for absolutely NO reason. A staff member followed my dog around and repeatedly sprayed him in the face with a water bottle, for no reason. He was displaying no signs of reactive or inappropriate behavior. The staff member was herding him into corners and squirting him, every time my dog approached a dog(in a FRIENDLY way) he would squirt him in the face. He would body check him, and even grabbed him by the scruff and tried to throw him down. My dog is 11 months old, completely social, and displays ZERO signs of reactive, dominant, or aggressive behavior in any way. I have 15 years of experience in animal welfare and dog behavior. I called 2 national originations I have worked with and had leaders of departments watch the live stream, everyone was horrified and it was a unanimous vote, I should get my dog immediately. There is nothing wrong with corrective behavior, when there is behavior going on that needs correcting. All this staff was doing was bullying my dog and punishing him for no reason, that turns a great dog into a fearful one. The lack of training of staff and what how they let people treat animals is inexcusable. No one should bring their dog here. The staff was not even alarmed and no management has called to discuss what happened, all they did was lie and say I told them to do that, which is insane. Learn how to care for dogs in playgroups, train your staff properly. Camp Bow Wow should be ashamed, and dog owners beware.
