THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh HarmarvilleWe loved everything about our stay! We stayed there for 5 nights in August, 2022 with our 2 pit/mixes and could not be more impressed with the way they treated our guys! From the treatbags upon arrival to the incredible free breakfast, and even outside dining tables so we could eat with our dogs! Very centrally located and close to everything you need! They even provided a list of nearby parks and pet-friendly restaurants! Everyone there went above and beyond, especially Sharon from the cleaning crew and GM Jeffrey. I accidentally left my pillow there when we checked out, and they SHIPPED IT TO MY HOUSE 2 days later! Wow! If you go, make sure you take your dogs to a huge off-leash park called Hartwood Acres. The next time we visit Pittsburgh we will DEFINITELY stay here!
Great location and excellent service!
The Westin Great Southern ColumbusWe only stayed here for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed with our 2 pit/mixes and enjoyed every minute. From the welcome to our dogs to the delicious dinner we had on their patio at the hotel. There is a huge field of grass just across the street to do their business, and a beautiful paved trail along the river you can get to from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again!
DO NOT STAY HERE!
Windsor Inn & SuitesDO NOT STAY HERE! We only stayed here because they are advertised as "pet friendly ", and had a 5 out of 5 bones rating on BringFido! My wife and I were traveling in 2 dogs. The hallways, entryways and room was filthy! I'm attaching a couple of pictures of trash in the hallway that remained for 2 days, and the stain on one of the room chairs. In addition, there was a tornado watch the night we stayed. Not a warning, but a WATCH, which means conditions are very favorable for a tornado. When I asked the manager/owner where the shelter was located, he told me they didn't have a shelter, and if a tornado did hit, that I should "call the police and ask them." What?? On the plus side, the tv worked.
