Excellent hotel and staff
DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington VermontFrom the minute you walk in and get a warm cookie, this hotel has a really friendly vibe. The pet friendly rooms are great, and the indoor pool (although not used by us this time!) looks refreshing. The location is also amazing, as you are right next to the University of Vermont and about one mile from the Church St. Marketplace and the. Burlington waterfront. Will absolutely stay here again!
Comfortable Stay
Best Western Plus Wilkes Barre Center CityThis was a late, overnight stay for us and we could not have asked for more. The rooms are clean and the to-go breakfast options were nice. It is near the highway for those looking to just stay and leave. There is not much of a grassy area for dogs, but you do get a really sweet bag with treats and waste bags upon check in.
Very flexible and welcoming
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Norfolk AirportWe were coming in from a long and hot drive and arrived well before the typical check in hour, but the front desk staff (Debbie & Robert) let us sit in the lobby and gave us a cookie while our room became available. The restaurant in the hotel is also convenient. There is plenty of grass for dogs to roam around in and the rooms are comfortable with hallways that are lines with nice photos of the city. We were really happy with our stay.
Great overnight stay
Candlewood Suites Greenville an IHG HotelWe arrived at this Candlewood Suites quite late in the night but Amber at the front desk was so kind to let us hold a room as we drove in late. The room is spacious like most Candlewood Suites, and there are plenty of amenities available if you need it. There is a lot of grass for dogs to use outside and this area of Greenville has a ton of shops and restaurants.
Perfect stay
Drury Inn & Suites MontgomeryWe came in on a very hot day and really needed to relax, and this hotel provided some very needed comfort. From the evening kick back with free dinner to great hot breakfast, this was exactly what we needed. The staff is very friendly and the area was safe to stay in overnight with plenty of outside space for dogs. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice stay near the main Little Rock attractions
Comfort Inn & Suites PresidentialThis was a great pet friendly hotel to stay at overnight. It is right off the highway and super close to the Clinton library, the River Market and the Arkansas Travelers baseball stadium. The construction is annoying but obviously not the hotel's fault. The doggy area is a bit close to the road, but they provide waste bags which makes things efficient.
AMAZING STAFF AND HOTEL!!!
Comfort Inn Conference CenterIt is hard to find the words for how wonderful our nights at this hotel were. The staff is absolutely amazing! Charlene, Dominic and Robert at the front desk all made our stay so enjoyable. They were kind and welcoming and even recommended good local food. We were there for Bowie Baysox baseball games and this hotel is SUPER close to Prince George's Stadium for anyone hoping to watch a game. There are also many food options nearby including fast food stops like McDonalds and Chick Fil A. The hotel is big with two buildings and a pool, the breakfast once available after COVID is well done and the pet friendly rooms are great. There is also a ton of room for dogs to be at outside. This is truly a phenomenal hotel.
Hard to beat the convenience
Residence Inn Aberdeen at Ripken StadiumThere is simply no better option when attending an Aberdeen Ironbirds game. This hotel is literally on the property of Ripken Stadium and you can walk to the game. The breakfast to go was as good as it could be during COVID times, and the rooms provide great amenities that make the stay comfortable.
Great location for the Hartford Yard Goats
DoubleTree by Hilton Hartford DowntownIf you're going to a Hartford Yard Goats game, this hotel is perfect. It is right across the street from Dunkin Donuts' Park which allows you to walk to the game. Apart from the location, the hotel could use some work. The staff is not the kindest and the rooms/hallways seem outdated and nor worth the Hilton price. Other guests were also very loud and we were pretty afraid of some people roaming around the hotel at night. The saving grace of our stay was Wagner the manager. If it were not for him we might have left after an incident in the middle of the night. For pets, you have to go in the middle of the street to find grass so that is not super convenient.
