Very dog friendly
Sagebrush Inn & SuitesPlenty of area for pet relief. Dogs allowed in cantina / patio. Older facility, but love the layout of rooms all opening into a courtyard area. Also a very cool "hacienda" vibe in the rooms. Earlier coffee availability would be nice for us early risers; complimentary coffee available 7 AM.

Clean, easy access
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salt Lake City - LaytonEasy off & on I-15. Assortment of restaurants in walking distance. Grass for walking dogs with poo bags available. Clean rooms. Downgraded because only 1 light (out of 4) in the bedroom area were working. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Comfortable & clean
The Beaverhead LodgeA surprise -- decent pillows! Very clean room, nice ground floor access. Individual serve coffeepot in room either hadn't been cleaned or something -- made a cup of coffee & there was a film on top, as well as the creamer turning "globby." No big problem, just got coffee in the lobby. Nice grass field behind hotel for dogs. It was snowing, so didn't utilize the hiking path. Easy walk to the "downtown" area with restaurants & bars. Would definitely stay here again. Improvements would be small fridge in the room & a chair besides wooden desk chairs.

Just fair
Motel 6 Lehi UT - Thanksgiving PointBest thing is the grassy areas around hotel to walk the dogs, & doggie waste cans. Room was VERY basic, fridge hadn't been cleaned, didn't appear the toilet had been cleaned. One wooden desk chair. And that was for the "deluxe" room. Not sure what made it deluxe -- the one wooden chair? It's a shame that all Motel 6s aren't uniformly well maintained. It was very quiet inside the rooms, considering the hotel is right next to the freeway in SLC.
