Great place for a 3-dog night
La Quinta by Wyndham BellinghamNot the most lavish of hotels, La Quinta is still within my budget because: 3 dogs. And our room was great; I also need fridge and microwave, and there was a good comp breakfast. Fred Meyer and Starbucks right next store: Costco gas station on the way back to I-5. Friendly staff who were all wearing masks during Washington state’s 4th surge: good. Great bang for the buck.

Hidden Gem
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham EugeneThis hotel is tucked away--Google Maps misled me to get there. But it's next to a big creek with geese, goslings, ducks, ducklings, a heron, and folks fishing and catching trout! (There won't always be ducklings: seasonal...) There's a fabulous park across the street, too, and the creek empties into the Willamette River there. The hotel was comfy with a huge room. My dogs, all three, were welcome.
