Updates would be nice
Holiday Inn Express & Suites W Monroe an IHG HotelBoth times I’ve stayed here, the staff have been kind and accommodating. I see them treating other visitors with the same effective and kind service. The rooms are a mixed bag. Some show wear and tear more than others, and rooms may be more or less put together based on who’s prepared the room. There’s a walking path behind the hotel that you can take your dog to for bathroom breaks. There isn’t a lot of green space on the property itself. I’ve stayed here and at the La Quinta just down the street. Of the two, I would choose Holiday Inn Express.
Great for dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham West MonroeThis hotel is right next to a park with a little walking trail. That's the biggest selling point for me. The hotel/room itself was okay. The refrigerator in my room was set on low and the knob to change the setting had been removed so I couldn't make it colder. The room showed some wear and tear issues but it was clean and the staff was all friendly. While there are signs that say masks are mandatory, most guests and staff weren't wearing them.
