Great off leash beach
Rodeo BeachFoggy in the AM but clears later. Plenty of parking and lots of friendly dogs

Family restaurant in strip mall
JJ's Burger JointThey welcomed our big dogs with water. They serve hand pressed burgers and barbecue with the fixings. Food was quite good. we were glad we took the detour from the freeway to eat here

Very dog friendly
Travelodge by Wyndham Presidio San FranciscoOur 2 large dogs were welcomed by the manger. We walked in the Presidio which is 1/2 block and has lovely lawns and hike and bike trails. We went there for a late night potty stop without and concerns. It's a 15 min walk to an off leash dog beach Crissy Fields which is within the Bay and protected from waves. It's a 6 block walk to a super outdoor dining district where you can eat steak, pasta, sushi, and every cuisine you might want all with your pooch. The motel itself is updated and scrupulously clean. The free breakfast is substantial including yogurt eggs many juices and teas and muffins and of course coffee. They attend to little touches including flowers in pots throughout the property. For the money, it’s a steal.
