Great place for dog walking
Best Western Inn at the RogueThis hotel is next to a long path that runs along the Rogue River -- a great place for a walk. (We walked at least 4 miles every morning.) There's also a little park across the street. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Great place for dog walking
Anchor Beach InnThis hotel is right next to the beach, which is great. It's also very close to a trail that runs all the way to the lighthouse, so you can walk to "downtown" Crescent City without having to walk along the highway.

Not great for dogs (or humans)
Quality Inn Ukiah DowntownSo many meth-heads in this area. Not the fault of the hotel operators of course. But still. Even my big dog was reluctant to go outside and pee in the neighborhood. Staff were friendly but I don't think I'll stay here again.

Perfect location
Monterey TidesLoved this hotel and will definitely book here again (although they said they're raising their rates for dogs). Right on the beach, which made our dog so happy. Also on the pedestrian/bike path that runs through Monterey -- super for walks.
