Horrible Experience!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The parking lot was not well lit and they had signs everywhere (more than usually posted at other hotels) stating to lock your car and take your valuables with you. When we got to our room, there was a loud gathering outside of our window that we were told would end at 10:30. That would have been fine, but it didn't end. It got louder. Our request to change rooms was ignored because they said they were shutting it down. They didn't. When we finally had enough we we went down to the front desk to check out. We were then told it was a holiday weekend so the party was allowed to continue until midnight and that it was ok now because they turned the music off (which they didn't).

When we requested a refund we were told that they couldn't give us one, to have a nice day and then he reminded us again that it was holiday weekend. We travel a great deal and have never experienced anything like this before. The manager was supposed to call us today but we still haven't heard from anyone. The gentleman at the front desk was more concerned about talking to his friend/guest then trying to help us. They both just stared at us like we were in the wrong.
