Best dog friendly hotel in the area
Howard Johnson by Wyndham BangorWe stay in Bangor frequently and this is my go to hotel with and without my dog. Clean, quiet and inexpensive. The difference between dog rooms and non dog rooms is dog rooms have a vinyl planking floor and a dark coverlet as well as located near away from high traffic areas. Otherwise the rooms are just the same as the non-dog rooms. The rooms look to have been recently refurbished and are very clean.

Great room!
The Westin Portland HarborviewThe hotel experience was excellent from check-in through checkout. Our room was large and comfortable with a great shower. There is a small park right outside which was adequate for quick potty breaks. The restaurant food, happy hour options, and service made up for not wanting to leave the pups for too long; we have a beagle and a fairly new rescue. I must mention the off season rate, fantastic!

Great price for a late stop on long drive
Americas Best Value Inn BangorNothing to rave about but was perfect to spend a night when traveling with dogs. Also good value.
