Not great
Travelodge by Wyndham MemphisThis motel looks like it was last updated in the early nineties. The room was in disrepair and not particularly clean. The coffee tray, luggage stand, and alarm clock looked as though they had not been cleaned in years. The mattress wasn’t great and noise from the highway made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Would not stay here again.

Not a great sleep
Sleep Inn Provo Near UniversityUnfortunately, this was not a great hotel. The pet rooms are all carpeted, and the first room we were assigned smelled strongly of urine. We were able to move to another room, but the air conditioner did not have a continuous fan settling so it cycled on and off all night, which was disruptive. There are blackout shades rather than curtains which did not block light at the edges. The smoke detector on the ceiling flashed all night, and the mattress was uncomfortable and the box springs creaked every time I moved. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel.

Good experience
Best Western Plus Las Vegas WestThis was a nice newer feeling hotel. Our room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The room appeared clean, and the breakfast was great. Dog potty area was adequate and potty bags were provided. Overall, a great experience and I would stay here again.

Kinda smelly
La Quinta by Wyndham FredericksburgThe hotel is located in a decent location, and they allow crated dogs to be left in the room which is great for making exploring Fredericksburg easy. However, our room felt humid and smelled strongly of a combination of mustiness and dog urine, so much so that I went to Walmart and bought air freshener. I should have asked to be moved to a different room, because upon waking I had almost lost my voice from throat irritation from sleeping in the dank room. I am assuming the air filtration was poor and the room was carpeted, so I am a little disturbed to imagine what is growing in the rug.

Good
La Quinta by Wyndham KingmanThe first room that we were assigned smelled like urine. We asked to be moved and the second room was much better. This location has carpeting which isn’t great, but the room appeared clean. Overall, a good basic hotel, but it was pricey. However, compared to other hotels this was a solid choice and I would stay again.

Good place to spend a night
Baymont by Wyndham PuebloThis hotel was basic but well kept. Pet fee was $15 per night which wasn’t terrible, and the woman at the front desk offered treats to our pups. I would stay there again.

Pretty terrible
Motel 6 Tallahassee FL - DowntownThis motel was really gross. The room was in need of major renovation. Everything was falling apart and it was also dirty. Under the bed was so much filth and the shower had hair in. We ended up staying one night because we arrived at 11:30 pm, but we requested a refund for the other three nights we had booked. Also, the walls were paper thin and we had to listen to thumping music and shouting all night. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.
