Nice place
ScalawagsFood was good (if you like fish and chips), and dogs were welcomed. You order then find a table outside and the bring the food. Crowded, but prompt service.

Pierson's Grille & SpiritsReally great restaurant with interesting, tasty food. Dogs welcomed and got loads of pets from staff and guests. Highly recommend.

Duffy's Garage & GrilleVisited on a rainy afternoon, plenty of cover on the deck. Pizza was very good. Dogs were very welcome. Enter up stairs at back. Highly recommend.

Perfect lunch
Round Island Bar and GrillBrought our 2 dogs here on a beautiful afternoon. Great views, shade or sun, plenty of room away from the crowded downtown, very dog friendly. As a bonus the food and cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend with or without dogs.

Great for water dogs
Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping CampsitesOur second time taking the dogs here in our motor home. Camping itself is decent, 30 amp full hookup, gravel/dirt pad, small sites, not luxury. But the location is ideal, right on lake Huron with views Mackinac and the bridge. Great place for dogs, loads of common areas along the shore with rocky Beach. Dogs not welcome at sandy Beach, but not a problem. Probably a mile of water access. Overall one of our favorites in MI.
