Great breakfasts
Waveriders Coffee & DeliLoved the fresh and tasty breakfasts! The outside deck is partially protected from weather. You have to go in to order and pick it up, so not really do-able if you're alone with your dog

Dog friendly picnic tables
The Sugar ShackThe food was good (nothing special), one of us went in to order, we ate out back at the picnic table. No one offered those biscuits I read about.

Not our favorite
Nags Head CafeThere are a few picnic tables outside. You have to go in to order. Not allowed to have real flatware (but real coffee cups?). The food was disappointing - sausage was overcooked and the eggs were already cold.

Best breakfast!
Freshfit CafeWe were the first customers, so it might be why things were a little slow (only one employee when we got there!). We sat on the deck facing the Sound. The food was fresh and delicious!

Swells'a Brewing Beer CompanyDogs are welcome inside and outside. Very nice place. Some great beers and good wine too!

Great lunch spot
Fish Heads Bar & GrillThe blackened fish tacos were amazing! Our dog was treated well. The only drawback was the very strong winds and where we had to sit. The waitress was great.
