Motel 6 San Jose CA - SouthA few years back my boyfriend and I got a room at this hotel for one night as we were going to visit the Winchester house the next morning. We arrived around 10pm and we’re super tired from our 15hr drive. We placed all our belongs in our room and left to go get food. There was a big family entering into the room right next to ours. When we came back everything was still okay and we went to sleep. Around 1am there was nonstop banging at our door and when we looked out the peep while there was a man standing there with his car pulled right up to our door. His headlight were facing our window and the side doors were wide open. Then the man started flashing a light through our window to try to see in. The family next to us opened their door and asked if they could help the man as he was waking up their kids. The man asked them if there were people in our room and once they said yes he continued to bang at the door till we answered. Once my boyfriend opened the door the guy looked at my boyfriend and told him he was looking for his girl but must have the wrong room, then got in his car and left. From what we could see there were more ladies in his back seat. We left as soon as we could.

Best Western Tumwater-Olympia InnWe checked in with our two large dogs and had no issue. The room was clean and the area seemed safe. They offered great free breakfast on the morning. The only issue we experienced was the front desk lady being upset with me when I went to check out because I had dogs. apparently when we checked in we weren’t given a pet room which I was unaware of because the lady from the night before that checked me in said I was good to go and I even signed a paper for having pets. The frustrating part was the front desk lady telling me I didn’t inform them when I did and booked through a pet app..
