Not great

Sketchy neighborhood. Noisy street. Broken outlets. Low water pressure. Musty odors. Wi-Fi that wouldn't connect. It appears they are housing homeless at the hotel...they had services providing food and security (a bonus). Had I known, I would have stayed elsewhere. Would not stay there again. (No issue with my dog.)

Great Beach

Arroyo Burro Beach (Hendry's Beach)

Excellent dog beach...clearly marked where leashes are required and where they were not. Long stretch of beach where dogs were off leash. Very enjoyable. Seemed like plenty of parking (on a Tuesday morning). It would probably fill up at other times.
