Our Pet Policy Change!

My name is Nicole and I work at My Friends Tavern. As a fellow dog owner and animal lover, I am here to explain the change in our pet policy for the patio. It does not escape our crew that changing from pet-friendly to not as abruptly as we had to is an inconvenience and a little strange. I would like to apologize on behalf of MFT and set the record straight. We unfortunately had a terrible incident on the patio a few weeks ago involving a pup and one of our staff. Everyone is doing ok now, but wasn’t for a bit. And at that point the decision had to be made to prioritize the safety of the staff, patrons, and fur babies alike. We are very sorry about that, but it truly was the only way to ensure everyone’s safety going forward. The fact that we love animals does not change, the fact that we love our customers does not change. Just our pet policy did. Thank you for your time, cheers.
