Old and loud
Red Roof Inn HelenExtremely small pet run for potty spot. Our room was not very clean. Within 2 seconds of being in the room my 5 pound fur baby found a pill that had been dropped and not gotten up. There were crumbs of food everywhere. We spent the next 30 minutes cleaning!!!

Great location!
Riverbend Motel & CabinsThe staff is wonderful. Very accommodating and nice as can be. Motel is older but nicely renovated. We have no complaints with the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Huge pet potty area. My furbaby loved watching all the people floating down the water. Motels location made it really convenient to walk everywhere we went.

Bugs! Bugs! Bugs!
Red Roof Inn Gulf ShoresRoaches everywhere! They claim newly renovated but the fake leather chair had no fake leather left on it. There was mildew/mold. I don't think the room, sheets, blankets, towels, wash rags have been cleaned at all. All washable things were filthy and had a horrible odor. The room stunk. When we turned the covers down the sheets were covered in human hair and dirt. The room was not clean nor was it cleaned after our complaint. Didn't help matters that the doors didn't shut properly, they have to be slammed. Yep, getting no sleep from slamming doors is not my idea of a fun time. Don't stay here unless you bring your own sheets, towels, and roach spray. My 4 pound fur baby was terrified. We took him everywhere with us because we were scared to leave him at this motel. Will not ever stay here again. Should've read the reviews before I booked!

Horrible!
Briarstone InnIf I could give a zero I would. To start we booked a king room and got a double. The room had a strange odor. Everything in it was stained and looked dirty. The sheets and towels were stained and didn't smell clean. They were a weird brownish yellow color not the white they were supposed to be. A little bleach goes a long way. Bugs! Bugs everywhere. Holes in the walls and doors. The walls are thin so you hear everything going on in other rooms. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here.
