Stay Far Far Away
Motel 6 Memphis TN - DowntownIt was so bad. Filthy. Sketchy. Loud. The worst experience Ive had in a long while. Cigarette butts and broken glass everywhere so its very unsafe for pets let alone people. Abandoned cars in the parking lot. No microwave or fridge. Walked out in the morning only to be harassed/screamed at by a maintenance worker about my dog scaring them. Pretty sure there is active drug dealing and prostitution going on as well. 🤷🏻♂️

Would Recommend
Red Roof Inn Louisville East HurstbourneIt was a nice clean property as well as room. The room was recently remodeled. Property was quiet even while busy. Clean grassy area for dogs to relieve themselves. Felt very safe. Only one smallish issue was the AC struggled to keep the room cold/cool on a warm day. Completely bearable though to the point I didn't request a new room or anything, just let them know on my checkout it wasn't working properly. Note the close dog parks tend to be under lock and key. They require yearly fees from what I've found. So just use the fields 🤷🏻♂️

Motel 6 Amarillo TX - AirportRooms recently renovated and clean. Solid for an overnight stay. No place for dogs to relieve themselves. Field next door is riddled with trash, broken glass and stiff grasses that hurt dog paws. There is a park up the road a few minutes. No off leash area (technically) but nice for a walk and plenty of grass for bathroom breaks.

Motel 8 Rock SpringsDated room. Clean. Safe for a night of sleep, wouldnt stay for more than one night amenity wise. Very small fenced in dirt area (no grass) for dogs to relieve themselves. VERY NICE dog park 5-10 min drive away. Fenced in, grassed, small and large dog side, swimming hole. Awesome park!

Rough … DONT DO IT!
Super 8 by Wyndham Colorado Springs/Afa AreaNot Pet Friendly. No place for dogs to relieve themselves at all. Checking-in they tried to charge me a $50 pet fee for my service dog and asked for my “dogs papers." Finally they refunded the fee. Got my room key, went upstairs to the room to find it uncleaned with the door wide open. Trash still in the room. Beds messed up. Clearly not cleaned. Went down to the front desk to let them know of the room situation. They didn't believe me that the room wasn't clean. By the time (2-3 mins) we walked back up to the room. Room services was “cleaning” the room. They had “made” the bed with the dirty sheets. I proceeded to not accept the cleanliness of the room. They took me to another room and it was satisfactory. Later in the evening I went out to my car to get dog food. As I walk out the side door I am confronted by an individual sitting on the retaining wall drinking. To then scream at me obscenities trying to start a fight. Not a good situation for a person let alone anyone's pet. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Motel 6 Boise ID - AirportClean room, recently renovated. Building in relatively rough shape. Small slanted grass patch in the back for dog relief. Beware of sprinklers. No Fridge/Microwave in room. Somewhat sketchy/industrial area near airport. Do not recommended for extended stay, but safe/good enough for a night of sleep.
