Dog-Friendly, Decent for the Price

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn Cleveland-Medina for one night on a road trip. Our room was clean and pleasant, but the bathroom was run down and did not seem as clean as the rest of the room. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. The rooms have exterior doors, which is better for our dog who gets spooked by banging room doors. There is a small grassy area between this hotel and the neighboring shopping center. It would be nice to have more of a pet area. There may be one somewhere else on the property, but we did not go searching. Overall the area seemed safe. Several restaurants close by and very convenient to the highway. No breakfast at this hotel. Overall a pleasant experience.
