noisy, rundown
Residence Inn by Marriott Saratoga SpringsThis place looks great from the outside, but inside it smells weird and needs some updating. The bed was saggy, sheets were threadbare and there is practically no soundproofing. There were kids running up and down the hall constantly, which drove my dog crazy. It sounded like people were crashing around upstairs very late at night and very early in the morning, which also made my dog freak out. There were hairs in the bed that weren't mine and the bathroom has seen better days. Not a great experience.

Graduate ColumbusThe front desk staff and the valet were very welcoming and enthusiastic about my dog. They gave us some biscuits upon check-in. There is a public park a few blocks away that was very nice for our morning walk and squirrel spotting.

Not very clean
Best Western Plus Cottontree InnWhen I arrived, they said they did not have any pet friendly room for me. I said I would make other arrangements, but then they found one? The room had not been cleaned thoroughly, I found large food particles on the ottoman and on a side table. That is very distressing, especially in these times. My key cards failed to work multiple times which is frustrating when you have your arms full of luggage and are trying to steer your dog. This hotel is also located in kind of an industrial area, there seemed to be transients loitering which made me fee unsafe.

Sketchy
Grand Williston Hotel & Conference CenterNot good. After pulling into the parking lot I felt very unsafe. I think there were people living in the parking lot in dilapidated campers. There were also broken down vehicles in the lot. Some drunk dude staggered out of the lounge and I was gone. I paid for my room, found a different hotel and stayed there where I felt safer.

Classy place, great location!
The Hotel Saskatchewan Autograph CollectionI enjoyed staying here. The room was fairly quiet, within walking distance to restaurants. You may leave your well-behaved dog in the room if you want to go out to eat, provided you leave your mobile # with the front desk. Parking feels a little unsafe, as it's not gated, etc. My dog was treated like another guest, everyone was very welcoming to her. There is plenty of space to walk your pets around the property as well as outdoor garbage cans to dispose of the waste. Overall, a beautiful hotel.
