Nice place to stay
The Chateau at Lake La QuintaThe hotel is on a small man-made lake around a planned community. Very polite and attentive staff. The patio and grounds are beautifully landscaped. Very convenient location for shopping and restaurants. Very dog friendly. Note rooms are clean but could use some updating and there is no elevator if you’re on the 2nd floor There’s a nice pool but no gym so it’s debatable if a $29/day resort fee in the offseason is justified. Definitely would stay again.
Almost Perfect
Avila La Fonda HotelGreat location, steps from a dog-friendly beach and restaurants, great service, charm, hospitality towards man and beast, etc. etc. Should easily be a 5-star rating BUT our room was on the street level with an extremely loud portable A/C unit next to the bed. Couldn’t turn it off and the staff couldn’t move us so we had resort to ear plugs. I suggest asking about the room prior to booking.
Great location and hospitality for man dog
Cambria Shores InnPerfect location across the beach, nice sized rooms with mini fridge and microwave; a welcome glass of wine and a breakfast basket every morning. Food and water bowls are set up for your dog and the relief areas are on the grounds. We’ve stayed at a lot of dog friendly places around the central coast of California and this has definitely been the best so far.
Great location
Casa Munras Garden Hotel & SpaClose walk to many great dog friendly restaurants and the hotel layout is perfect for travelers with dogs.
