Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location
The Holman Grand HotelA perfect stay for us and our dog. The staff are so, so helpful and gave us terrific advise of the important things to do in during our short stay. Puppy was most happy there! Hoping we can return in the future!

Just a hotel
Sheraton Tarrytown HotelWe had problems at check-in, room keys would not work so they left us, with puppy, in the hallway for a long time. Took three staff members to confirm that it was not my incompetence in using a key. They finally they found another room for us as no one in the hotel knew how to fix the lock (looked like a battery issue to me, which I have had happen before...but what do I know). The AC in the new room did not work well - 80 degrees during day but thankfully dropped to mid 70s at night. This is just another hotel, one that needs some updating and staff that is better trained in customer support and basic hospitality issues. No free coffee station but does have a Starbucks and overpriced restaurant.

Perfect location
Hawthorne HotelWould definitely stay again due to the perfect location of the hotel and dog friendly town. Hotel has a lot of events so gets busy in late afternoon and evening - one inconvenience can be lack of hotel or close by free parking during these times. Lots of hotel parking after the end of the event so could move car then. Advised the management to alert people checking in about this...hope they do so in the future but did not seem interested in my suggestion. How does this relate to dogs? No parking and the extra drive time did not make Fido happy.

Perfect stay
Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia an IHG HotelOur Fido loves Philly, in a large part due to this hotel and the location. If you stay here, be sure to explore the many many wooded/lawn squares.
