Clean, comfortable and spacious
Shilo Inn & Suites SalemStaff was friendly and efficient, even with our 11pm arrival, as well as the next morning. And while we smelled smoke in the lobby, our Junior Suite room did not smell like smoke, and was immaculate and spacious, along with being well-appointed, all allowing for a comfortable stay with our small dog. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette suite had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee setup. The breakfast was pretty basic, but was a nice addition to a restful stay. We didn’t use the pool or gym due to lack of time. Parking was right in front of the lobby front doors, and the elevator worked fine (other reviews complained about slow elevator). Overall, a good value. Would definitely stay again.

Motel 6 Santa Maria CA - NorthThe room and bed were comfy, and the service friendly and helpful. The freeway traffic is pretty loud, but wasn’t bad until early morning.

Lovely and accommodating
Patriots Boutique MotelA sweet motel with a lot of nice touches: friendly service, flowers in front of every window, sheet on top of the duvet in case we wanted our pup to sleep on top of the comfy bed, pet relief station and bbq area behind motel, refrigerator and microwave, late check out. We and our pup were very comfortable and would definitely return.

Clean and friendly, but
Motel 6 Carpinteria CA - Santa Barbara - NorthOur room was clean and decent enough, but after getting unpacked, we discovered the door lock didn’t work, so we were given another room, only to discover that the heat didn’t work. We got three blankets and braved it for two nights. The second night, we were awakened every couple of hours by a guy working on his car outside our window, revving his motor, slamming his door, which was apparently not working properly, and blasting music. We didn’t call management because we were parked right next to him and feared retribution.

Lovely hotel
Stratford InnThis is a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel with nice amenities including breakfast, pool and jacuzzi. Staff are friendly and helpful, and we and our pup were comfortable there.
