Good for dog, just ok for people

The first floor room was den-like and the AC was loud white noise, so the dog could stay in the room when we went to the beach with the widow drapes closed and she would not be bothered by people walking by. However, the room itself was on the older, well used side with a very small bathroom. The interaction with the desk person was through a computer, and I felt the price was very high for the room we actually received. However, it was clean, no smells, I was able to leave my big dog alone when we needed to, and walk onto the beach with her when we wanted to (loved spending time on the beach with her!). So all went well. If the price was motel price, I would have given it more bones, but I expected a nicer room for the amount that I paid.
