Disappointing first stay

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3:20pm. Website and paperwork stated check-in at 3:00. They gave me room key and said they would text me the room number when room was ready. They said they have until 5pm not 3. After trying to amuse two dogs for 90 minutes, at 4:55 I went back to desk and they said 'your room is ready, we must have a glitch in system that they didn’t text you.' I reserved a king but room was two doubles. Did not receive stated goodie bag of dog accessories. On a positive note, they waived the $50 pet fee!
