Horrible experience!

Sapphire Inn

We are new users of BringFido and this was only the second place we stayed. The inn did not have our reservation, could not locate it by the confirmation number, did not know what they were to charge us, but did have a room. I only rated one bone because it was the only dog friendly hotel that I could see in the area and we were really tired from driving so I was grateful to at least have a place to stay. Otherwise, it would have been NO bones.

There was a lot of trash outside our room. When we opened the door, it seemed like it would be okay. Although it had new comforters, when we turned down the bed the sheets were threadbare, torn, and ripped. The underside of the box spring was hanging in tatters. As we were retiring my husband noticed that although there was a dead bolt lock there was no security door guard. The bed was as hard as a rock (maybe a preference by some). When we were getting ready in the morning I noticed that the bottom of my feet were BLACK. I left my washcloth, as evidence, with a note telling them it was time to clean the floor.

Overall, a disgusting experience. We did stay at two other hotels while we were away and had good experiences. So, I don't fault BringFido. Beware if you are planning to stay at the Sapphire Inn.
