Cheap, clean and shabby
De Leon InnA well worn motel, but it was inexpensive and clean. Couldn't find the pet relief area. Added a ten dollar fee for checking in 30 minutes early.

Studio 6 Deer ValleyOld and shabby. Had a kitchen with no utensils or kitchen equipment, not even a cup or glass to use after brushing my teeth. Did have a nice assortment of crawlies. Spider in the bathroom and cockroaches in the kitchen/bedroom area.

Bad vibes

Great place for pups
Sands by the SeaGood room. Friendly staff. Very large grass area with benches and fire pits between the buildings and the beach. Their beach is open to dogs.

Noisy, otherwise OK
Motel 6 Buttonwillow CA CentralLiterally a stone's throw fron I5, this is probably the noisiest motel I've ever used. No designated pet relief area, but lots of lawn available. Room was above average for a Motel 6.

OK but noisy
Rio del Sol Inn NeedlesAn older motel with badly worn furniture. They said they're in the process of upgrading but hadn't gotten to the room I was in. Close to a railroad with the attendant noise. Friendly staff. No pet relief area but there is undeveloped property next to the motel. Ok in January but I'd not like to be there when it's hot. Had to remove burrs from my dog's paws.

Interesting and unusual place to stay
Hotel McCoy - Art Coffee Beer WineYou'll want to walk around to see all of the murals. Room was remodeled, clean and comfortable. Small pet area for doggy business. Very friendly staff.

Motel 6 Flagstaff AZ - ButlerThe site is close to a rail line, so lots of noise from trains. Bed was uncomfortable. Otherwise, typical Motel 6 experience - low price, low amenities.
