Sonesta Suites Pittsburgh

I would rate Sonesta Simply Suites Pittsburgh as average. We liked the pet area and the fact that we were on the first floor with easy access to a side entrance that led directly to the pet area was nice. The room was comfortable and although only a studio, it fit our needs. They also had a complimentary washer/dryer, which was a nice feature. There were a few negatives. On arrival, we had to ask for our "complimentary pet package" and the agent had to look around for it and seemed surprised when I asked about it. Also, the pet fee was $82.50 where we had been quoted $75. If there was tax, I think it would have been nice to know that. There wasn't room service, which is common these days, but having a small broom and dust pan in the room would have been nice. Overall, it wasn't bad, but definitely not one of our favorites.
