Disgusting and Outdated

We decided to give this place a try based on the review and the limited availability of pet-friendly hotels in Lincoln. We regretted it instantly.

The hotel is NOT clean nor is it modern. The television was an old Zenith from the 90's that kept glitching out intermittently if we attempted to watch anything, the microwave didn't even work, and the bathroom fixtures were ancient and yellowed from age and smoking. The paint is peeling or scraped off everywhere, the bed is severely uncomfortable and feels like a camping cot, there's mold along the shower edges, the toilet doesn't flush right and most of the paint is worn off the seat, the complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, etc) was all of different brands and makes it look like they just go around to other hotels and swipe random bathroom products (which I'm sure they don't actually do, for the record).
There is a ton of fur and dirt behind our bed, and the room smells horrendous. The towels are paper thin and the bath mat was so worn there was a huge empty patch in it where there was only threads and no actual fabric left.
There IS a gas station next door, however, and that is convenient.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Great Staff, Highly Disappointing Hotel

This hotel was sub par, but tolerable. I think calling it "decent" would be an overstatement, but I have certainly seen worse. The whole hotel smells like mothballs and smoke, the "counter tops" are pieces of plywood or particle board thrown together and painted white, the TV channels were incorrectly identified on the hotel guide, the sink, toilet, and shower were unusually low (a toddler would've been VERY comfortable using that bathroom), the dual-bulb lamp on the nightstand was missing lamp shades and one of the bulbs was out, the beds were actually drooping/sagging down to a point where the box spring and mattress were nearly 2 inches below the actual bed frame (and we discovered upon closer inspection that this was because the bed frame itself was broken), and there was trash and tumbleweeds of dirt, dust and fur underneath both our beds that had obviously been there for quite some time.

The one POSITIVE thing I will say about this place (and it's only saving grace) is the woman working the front desk the night of our stay was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional.
