No first floor room
Wingate by Wyndham Rock Hill / Charlotte / Metro AreaWhen we arrived we were told we were on the fourth floor despite request made for first floor at least 10 days prior. My 11 year old lab is terrified of elevators!! I requested at least to be given a second floor room!! Four flights of stairs was not workable for either my dog or my husband and I. I was told to come back in a half hour to see if a second floor room was available. It was. We then found out that their end of hall exits were not functioning which meant having to go through the lobby for each walk as well as doing stairs. While the room was nice, it was not nice enough to offset the inconveniences. We will not be staying there again.

Nowhere to walk dogs
Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisonburg Near UniversityNo treats or even welcome for our dog. Essentially no place to walk her either. Just a few narrow strips of grass on edge of parking lot. Staff was unfriendly. The room was clean and our stay was quiet.

Terrible place
Super 8 by Wyndham OrangeburgOld, run down and dirty. No good place to walk our dog. Breakfast options lacking. When we were checking out I wanted to tell them how dirty the floor was but no one spoke English. There were many close restaurants, but we will never stay there again!!

Room not ready
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Winchester VAWe arrived at about 4:30pm. Check-in supposed to be after 3pm. Our room was not ready until about 5pm. We were overtired as was our dog! Otherwise happy with set up for our dog!!

Reservation incomplete
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Hagerstown an IHG HotelWhen checked in told they did not receive information concerning having a pet and request for first floor! They were able to accommodate me and were apologetic and even waived the pet fee due to the mix up. No treats for my dog and they do not allow dogs in common areas including lobby. You also have to sign a long complicated waiver if you have a dog. The room had carpeting which with a dog I do not prefer and the bed was very uncomfortable. The dog walking area was quite good and they had a waste bag dispenser and trash can.

Lousy location
Candlewood Suites Richmond-South an IHG HotelLousy location. Pitiful dog walking area. Would not stay there again. Unfriendly staff. Cost $50 for our dog.

La Quinta by Wyndham FlorenceThe hotel was spotless, the staff cooperative, the room very comfortable and best of all. The dog walking area was large, and well lit!!! What a nice experience!!!!
