Mediocre

- We could run the AC fan all night to drown out noise happening in other rooms and in the hallway
- Since the elevator nearest to us was out of order, most of the traffic was diverted to a separate area so we didn't have quite as much traffic by our room
The cons:
- Our room was pretty dirty. There were several clumps of hair (human hair, not dog fur) on the floor, and the floor near the bed had some kind of dried spill next to it
- The volume on the TV was broken (remote would only go down to level 13 -- we couldn't get any quieter)
- The in-room phone didn't work and made for a frustrating situation when I needed to call the front desk

Clean

- Our room was clean
- The breakfast was great
The cons:
- The hotel was full, and it was super noisy (with humans and dogs). We left the bathroom fan on all night, along with the TV, to drown out the noise as best we could.
- The in-room phone was disconnected, which was frustrating when I needed to call the front desk. La Quinta makes it hard to find their local hotel phone numbers online. This is the second La Quinta I've stayed in and the second with the room phone out of order -- must be a thing?
- The AC fan couldn't be set to be on permanently. I'll have to remember to bring our white noise machine on trips from now on.
