Had to leave the motel😵‍💫

I left Bella in the back seat of my car to check into Motel 6 Morro Bay, when I returned to my car Bella was cowering on the front passenger side floorboard. Weird, I wondered what had scared her but figured it would be best to get into our room. Bella was still trembling when I got us settled so I decided to walk her.

We walked a short distance from the motel but when I tried to turn her around to go back to the room, Bella REFUSED to move and I couldn’t drag my 40-pound dog. I had to tether Bella to a fence, run back to the motel, get my car, and drive back to where Bella was tethered to pick her up. When she got back in the room she trembled for a couple of hours. I even researched ER vets thinking something might be physically wrong with Bella, but she finally calmed down and was okay until around 10PM, when she became alert, and the terror trembling began all over. I tried to calm her for 15 minutes, became thoroughly frustrated with the situation, packed up, left the room at 10:30PM, and arrived back home at 1:30AM.

A 110% disappointment and waste of money. Additionally, I had to change rooms because the toilet in the first room I occupied had a backed up toilet😵‍💫adding insult to injury. The whole experience from start to finish was a total nightmare.

Best Pet-Friendly Stay!

The Motel 6 San Luis Obispo South is an outstanding pet-friendly overnight option. Everything about my stay was top-notch; the cost was reasonable and without a pet fee or size limitation, the location was very convenient without being hectic, all areas of the grounds are clean and well-kept, although I didn’t use the pool, the area was immaculate and the pool crystal clear, staff - both front desk and housekeeping - were very friendly and helpful, my room was spic-and-span clean and expertly made up, and there was no excessive noise during the night, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. I would highly recommend if you are in need of lodging in this are, with or without your pet - but particularly with your pet since this pet-friendly motel is an excellent choice.
