Great location
Best Western LumbertonPlenty of space for pup to walkabout with disposable stations. Staff very friendly… and Walmart within easy walk if you need anything. Hotel looking kind of tired but clean. Breakfast was fine.

Wonderful
Inn at Cemetery HillRight in the center of Gettysburg but with plenty of outdoor space for pup… great place for us as well as Emma. Staff super friendly to the three of us -Most definitely would stay again!

Great Dog Park
Hampton Inn BensonBest part for pup was the lovely dog park right in front of hotel. It couldn’t have been more convenient. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful (thanks Jessica). Reason for 4 bones is that Benson has no dog-friendly restaurants. We had some takeout Chinese food which worked but wish there were local options.

Cats and Dogs ( along with People) Welcome
The Southern PetAs we walked in we were greeted by friendly cat sitting in the window and Stephanie the owner who offered us a hello and our pup a treat (after she asked us if that was ok). Lots of pet products to look at, and Stephanie more than happy to explain what was offered (without a hard sell!). Relaxed and happy atmosphere with a knowledgeable owner- our only regret is that we don’t live in Landrum so we could visit The Southern Pet on a regular basis.

Excellent for People and Pups
Stone SoupDelightful covered outdoor patio where we were graciously seated with our dog( who was welcomed with a bowl of water and affection by servers). Food was delicious and after our meal walked to lovely dog park ( maybe 3 minutes from restaurant!) where Emma had a chance to romp. Definitely would return to Stone Soup!

Large place for dogs to romp
Jackson Park Dog ParkLocated in the huge Jackson Park is a large and .. warning.. partially fenced dog park. Great place where dogs can get wet and access trails- our pup did neither I’m am a bit of a “parachute “ dog owner- but she did indeed have a great time exploring and having some great runs. Place to sit, friendly people. Needs some work
e.g. water access and more dog stations-but certainly worth bringing pup for a visit (we’ve been going every day).

Couldn’t Be Better
Hannah Flanagan's Pub and EateryCouldn’t serve us on the patio as they only had 2 servers- no problem Chase the greeter said “come on in “ and seated us at a table. Samantha our server was wonderful- as was the other customers. The food was incredible and ambiance delightful- definitely worth a return visit.

Blissful Experience
Bullington GardensCouldn’t have spent a more beautiful time -and while pup didn’t express an opinion she definitely seemed to enjoy the leisurely walk and wonderful smells!
Dog station and bowl of water right near gift shop.. what more could you ask for?

Ok visit
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Roanoke SalemThe positive-friendly staff and lots of green area around to walk pup. Negative, poor insulation; heard yips from dog across from us (was left by owners?) and also heard thumps from overhead room. Otherwise clean and we had a good night’s sleep.

A fine experience
The Country Inn of Berkeley SpringsLovely historic Inn in downtown Berkeley Springs. Dog had plenty of space to walk not only around the Inn but next door at Berkeley Springs Park. Comfortable and clean.

Couldn’t Be Better
Hotel Nyack, a JdV by Hyatt HotelModern hotel with old fashioned amenities and really good people. They loved our dog. Ample space for walking our pup around building with dog station and garbage bins. Dogs welcome in relaxing lounge area next to restaurant (which had a very good selection of tasty meals). Comfortable, clean room. Would definitely return.

Holiday Inn Princeton an IHG HotelExceptionally clean, exceptionally friendly ( to our pup and to us). No dog station but wide expanse of grass to walk around with garbage bag right there as needed. Definitely would return ( they really loved our dog so why not!).

Great for Our Pub
Sunset Beach ResortVery welcoming to Emma our dog) and to us as well. Very large grassy areas plus a dog park and beach for digs to roam in on leash and lots of dog stations throughout the property. We had a bit of problem with our room ( this the 3 bones) but on the plus side the staff were more than accommodating to help fix concerns so would stay again if we were in the area.

Good place for our pup
Hampton Inn DunnEmma our dog was treated with a doggie bag on arrival ( we didn’t get a baggie but did get big smiles). Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Small green area which was quite large enough to walk Emma about and certainly enough bag stations provided. Only downside for me was breakfast choices ( only light roast coffee, tepid eggs) but even with that the friendly staff more than made up for the basic motel fare. Nearby Dog Park in Benson deserted and just adequate, not worth the trip, but we certainly would consider staying at Hampton Inn, Dunn NC again.
