Convenient Location
H & H Motor LodgeOld hotel. Our room had dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling, badly marked up walls, old furniture, and worn sheets and spreads. Room smelled of stale cigarettes and a cigarette burn was in the bed spread. No breakfast. Individual outdoor entrances but no place decent to relieve Fido. If you are in a bind it does put a roof over your head. Sheets and towels were clean.
Nice But Heavily Used
Portage Creek Bicentennial Park TrailToo often bikers or inline skaters appear from the rear at fast speeds with little or no warning. Otherwise a good trail for a vigilant walk with the pooch.
Very Adequate
Travelodge by Wyndham Grand IslandUpon check in we were given a doggy gift, which our pup enjoyed. Rooms were nice, breakfast was ample, but being given a room facing the road made it a noisy night. Our room was convenient to a side exit but there was no designated walking area. So it was a little awkward finding suitable turf to potty. Overall, though, a friendly, suitable accommodation.
Great Place to Romp
Tony Grampsas Dog ParkWe were there in 5 inches of snow and our dog loved it. It was more of a walk/run in the woods than a throw the ball kind of place. A little hard to find the fenced dog park area once getting to the park.
Very Nice
La Quinta by Wyndham LovelandClean and newly updated. Very convenient back entrance to walk our pup and large area to relieve and walk our pup. Unfortunately, some pet owners are discourteous about cleaning up after their dogs. Very spacious breakfast room. Nice walking trail right next to the hotel.
Very Nice
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Denver GoldenClean and very suitable. There’s a nice public, free dog park a short drive away that made the stay better for our pup.
