Filthy facility
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lexington Park - PatuxentWhen arriving at our assigned room we were shocked to find pet smeared and dry animal feces on the floor. Trash had not been emptied in bathroom, dead cockroach carcasses on the floor, and on the the vents of the AC unit there appeared to be Trail Mix or dried dog food. Upon complaining, we were moved to another room that was only slightly better. The following morning we discovered the the was a $250 pet deposit charged to our credit card. This would be refunded if no damage was discovered. The desk clerk explained that we should have been given a copy of this pet agreement that we should have signed at registration. That did not happen. In addition, the pet area was totally overgrown with weeds, full of trash and piles of animal feces. Pet friendly hotels in that area are hard to find. If I’m every in that area again, I’ll sleep in my car. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
