Great Park!
Dog Park at Cottonwood ParkWe are road tripping with our two husky breeds from Colorado to Oregon and stopped to let the pups out to burn off some energy. We were very plesently surprised with the quality and expanse of this park. All the dog owners seemed very attentive, friendly, and respectful of other patrons in the park.
It was a bit difficult to find the park compared to the parking, but nothing Google maps couldn't help us navigate. This is a dog park worth utilizing.
Just Ok
Quality Inn & Suites ElkoWe are on a 20+ hour trip with our two husky breed dogs and just needed somewhere to stay for one night. It worked, but let's be real, you get what you pay for, we know that. The hotel overall was fine. The room was small, furniture/ fixtures were outdated, the walls weren't "spotless," the breakfast was mediocre. The dog park in the back was just a large fenced in dirt patch behind the building (nothing fancy) and there was some poop left by careless dog owners, but honestly, it was great for us to have a place where we could simply throw a ball and let our dogs run off leash for a bit. They definitely appreciated it after 13 hours in the car. Not many hotels provide this so we were grateful for this as an option. Again, if you're looking for spotless and pristine, don't come, but if you're just looking for a cheap place to crash with dogs and allow your expectations match the budget you won't be disappointed.
Great Park
Fox Run Dog ParkWe just moved to Colorado Springs and loved taking our dog here for the first time. She had a blast in the LARGEST off leash area she's ever been in. Such an amazing park for both dogs and owners.
Easy check in
La Quinta by Wyndham Salt Lake City AirportEverything was smooth. Plenty of grass around the hotel. It was short but a good experience.
