Our Dog Park of Choice!

There are many LDRA dog parks in the Louisville area but Vettiner has always been our dog park of choice due to its great community! Members will often put in their own time and resources into improving the park. There is a small dog side and an all dog side. Both sides have a lot of room for the dogs to run, with a mix of open and wooded area. The park has running water and waste containers. There are also small swimming pools that your pet can cool off in. Vettiner is usually not as heavily trafficked as Sawyer Dog Park, but there tends to still be plenty of dogs especially during good weather or peak hours.

Keep in mind that all LDRA dog parks are private. If you are visiting from out of town, you will need to email the Louisville Dog Run Association in advance to receive temporary access! LDRA membership grants you access to all 8 of the dog park locations. Hope this helps.
