BluePearl Eden Prairie Pet Hospital

BluePearl Pet Hospital & Emergency Vet

0 STARS.
Dog died. 04/20/22. 41 hours in ER. $4700 charged and got over-charged.
Hello, writing this review to share our recent experiences at the Eden Prairie Blue Pearl Hospital MN so that it may help someone with their decision.
Facts first:
They lost our clinical notes as it was not given back to us - thy cannot find it. I wonder what clinical care was provided.
The doctor that we were charged for overnight care in the bill was not even there physically at the ER. Hard to believe that the doctor is not there in the ER setting - as one would expect to provide care. No wonder why he got worse suddenly and died!
After 41.5 hours of ER stay in the hospital, we LOST our 6-year-old dog.
We were charged for the 48 hours - dog is gone, but were still charged for 48 hours with numerous test and services - for what? Dog is long gone and got charged for care for the time where they did not provide any service.
Dog got worse than when he was brought in. Because of unrealistic overpricing/charges, after day 3, we started calling a few other ER hospitals to see if we could move our dog in our car to a different ER setting.
No diagnosis. Either this or that and more tests. They keep asking you to put in deposits. Example $4000 after we gave them 1700 on the first day and they don't give a good estimate and get a surprise bill.
On day three (not technically), Blood transfusion was advised for additional thousands of dollars, but they are not willing to take off ONE DOLLAR and they do not tell you how long they need to keep or if that would have helped him.
I wish we had brought our dog to a different ER other than Blue Pearl in EP. After our dog died, they were telling us that they provided all the care that they could. WRONG! Told them that the doctor was not even there overnight - just some staff. And they would not guarantee or budge not even a dollar or give proper diagnosis wonder why the dog's condition worsened and died.
Last week, we gave our dog vision back through cataract surgery in his both eyes for 5000, which was successful at a different location. And then we basically paid another 5000 at Blue Pearl place and lost our dog.

You decide!! Hope your outcome is better and different than ours - where you will find a GENUINE and COMPASSIONATE care and not get overcharged while you take care of your dog or are grieving - for the time/services that one does not get cared for.
