LOCATION IS AMAZING
Dog Beach at Pier Parkincredible beach for dogs! yes - do have to leash your pup, but sand and water incredible for dog and human alike! I wish it was fenced in so dogs can run off the leash, and I also wish that non-dog owners didn’t camp out there so it wouldn’t be as crowded. Those are both wishlist items, but 5/5 for what is advertised and what is provided.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of bags provided and the showers having hose options for our furry friends at 56 & 57!
Definitely for people but dog had fun!
Pier ParkThere are tons of dog friendly restaurants (patio dining only) and even a few stores that will let your dog in. There are plenty of places for dog to get water but best in the morning/early afternoon. Crowd doesn’t die down after lunch time and sidewalks get super crowded.
Solid park
Frank Brown Park and Dog ParkNice sized area with mix of sand and grass for dogs to run and play. Bags provided and easy access to water. In the human seating area for large dogs, there was a small pool for dogs to play in. That pool was disgusting. It’s early in the season, but still pretty gross. The rest of the park is AMAZING with tons of activities for humans to participate in!
