Little Stony Point
Little Stony Point ParkWe loved the views of the Hudson River. We found the trail to be well maintained and free of trash. This is a great easy walk for you and your pup.
Walk over the Hudson
Walkway Over the HudsonThis is a great walk with beautiful views. It’s an easy hike and would be suitable for any size pup. At the main rest area they have water for dogs and cans that waste can be discarded
Shaupeneak “White” Trail
Shaupeneak RidgeWe found that parking was not on Moore street it was on Route 16 just few hundred feet off of Route 9W. If you reach Moore Street, you’ve passed the parking lot. The trail itself was beautiful. A great trail to bring your pup along on but no trash cans for dog waste and as a result there were bags on the trail side.
Cornish Trail
Cornish Estate TrailThe Cornish trail was enjoyable trail easy trail with lots of shade. we extended our hike to include the red trail, yellow trail and white trail. This ended up being a 5 1/2 mile hike up some pretty steep Rocky terrain. Would only recommend this for the experience hiker or hiker looking for a challenge and larger size pup. Views were spectacular and well worth the difficulty if you’re up for it.
