Fido must be leashed while you explore this beautiful stretch of coastline in Monterey, CA. When enjoying a casual stroll along the sand or in the surf, please be mindful of other beachgoers with dogs, and families with small children. North Beach North Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Del Mar, CA. Dogs are allowed off-leash during the off-season, between the day after Labor Day through June 15th. June 16th through Labor Day, during the summer, pups are only allowed off-leash from dawn to 8:00 AM. Otherwise, dogs are still welcome on the beach but must remain leashed.
