    We are so excited to welcome all our canine friends from communities across Long Island as they join us for a day of fun and festivities. Bark for Life is an American Cancer Society fundraising event that honors the caregiving quailities of our canine companions. The American Cancer Society Bark For LifeTM is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, vendors and games. All pre-registered pooches will recieve a Bark For Life bandana. Quantities will be limited for walk-ins so reserve yours now! By supporting Bark For Life, you help the American Cancer Society save lives, and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

      Great Event for a great charity

      I attended the Bark for Life on September 8, 2013 with my dog Murphy. We like to do something special together around my birthday which was the next day. We raised a decent amount of money for a charity which is close to my heart as cancer has claimed the lives of some of my family members. There were so many dogs and so many stories of survival. I really enjoyed this event and hope it will become an annual event. it is a wonderful way for a dog to spend quality time with their human and other dogs.
