2015 Chariots of Fur 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Description: 5th Annual Chariots of Fur 5k & 1-Mile Fun Run is a 5K beach run/walk and 1-mile Fun Run - with or without your dog - on the beautiful beach of Jacksonville Beach. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit St. Francis Animal Hospital to provide medical care to less-fortunate family pets. Runners & walkers will set their own pace - racing to win or walking for fun! Hand-made ceramic dog bowl prizes awarded to the first place overall male and female 5K finishers and top three male and female 5K finishers in 13 age categories.  All pre-registered participants will receive a souvenir t-shirt and race packet filled with goodies. Race festivities will include sponsor booths, Doga (yoga with your dog), hot chocolate, a complimentary runner’s buffet, massages, raffle with great prizes and dogs available for adoption. St. Francis Animal Hospital is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal hospital whose mission is to make healthcare accessible to all owned pets. St. Francis Animal Hospital doesn’t receive state or federal funding; our only sources of revenue are the fees for our services and donations received from generous individuals and businesses. Thanks to our caring donors, St. Francis Animal Hospital is helping families keep their pets healthy and out of local animal shelters. We have been providing a needed service in our community and have been honored to serve over 9,100 pets in the past year. 5K Beach Run Fees (Adult/Child): ? $25/$20 pre-registration fee until Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at 9 AM and includes a t-shirt. ? $30/$25 registration fee from Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at 9:01 AM to Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at 9 AM (t-shirt is not guaranteed).   ? Race day entry is $35/$30. ? Adult (15 and over)/Child (14 and under) 1-Mile Fun Run (Adult/Child): ? $15 for child or adult ? No extra fee for running with your dog.
