Description
Saturday, April 4th (Edwin Warner Park, Shelter 3), will be an exciting day for dogs to hunt out hundreds of eggs filled with dog treats and valuable prizes for them and their owners. The "Hoppin' Hounds Easter Egg Hunt" is organized by the Nashville Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association to raise awareness and funds for two great Nashville organizations - The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville and Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. The afternoon will offer two egg hunt sessions (12:30pm, 1:30pm), each with thousands of eggs, and a spring photo of you and/or your pet. There is a suggested $10 registration donation. We are adding vendor booths so plan on some time to check out their tables. At 1:00pm we will have a dog costume contest, judged by Snooty Giggles’ famous Monsieur Munzie and other famous Nashville canines. Costume contest registration is a suggested $5 donation per dog.
Edwin Warner Park is located in the Bellevue/Belle Meade area of Nashville, TN. From Old Hickory Blvd, Turn onto Vaughn Rd. You will pass the dog park on your right (check it out after egg hunting!) and Shelter 3 will be further down the road on the right.
Note: In the case of rain, the event will be postponed to Sunday, April 12th.
