Run and Walk Wythe Paws

This is Wythe County Humane Society's second annual event! The first one "Run Wythe Paws" was held last year in conjunction with Courtney Miller who was earning her Girl Scout Gold Award. This years event promises to be even bigger! The run will start and end in the park this year. The walk will be held right there in the park utilizing the walking track! We are really excited about this event! There will also be pets at the event available for adoption! You may just find a special furry friend! Other groups, licensed groomers, and trainers are invited to also participate! There will be a hot dog and bake sale! Homemade dog treats will be available at Wythe County Humane Society's booth. There will also be a Pet Show! We have also invited some organizations to come in and do special demonstrations. More info will be posted soon. This event is not just about the run or walk, there will be activities and groups set up throughout the day, so come on by! All walk and run participants are encouraged to bring their pets! Anyone else attending the event may also bring their pets. All pets must be on a leash (no retractables please) and under control at all times. All pets must be up to date on their vaccinations. Please be sure to clean up after your pet so that the experience will be pleasant for everyone. Pet clean up bags will be available at Wythe County Humane Society's booth.
