Description
This is a unique dog festival that you won't want to miss! It takes place along with our Firemen's Festival, and has a "Fire Dog" theme. Your dog can participate in a doggy dash, earn badges for a fire themed bandanna by taking part in our "Captain's Challenge Stations", and you can even "Strutt your Mutt" in our firemen's festival parade. The day will be filled with contests, activities, demonstrations, silent auctions, vendors, photo op areas- (fire dog themed, of course!) The best part is the location! Come enjoy a quiet day in a rural small town in Northern IL built on Richland Creek. The dog fest will take place right next to the historic Jane Addams Trail. Enjoy the trail as much as you like. You and your dog can walk through a covered bridge and past a wetlands area. We hope to see you there. This event is well worth the drive!
