Pawapalooza

Looking for an family friendly, pet friendly event this year well look no further. Boone County's Pawapalooza and K95K is the shelter's largest fundraiser of the year. We invite you to join us for a fun filled day of food, vendors, music, silent auctions, costume contest, dunking booth, bouncy houses for kids, lure coursing and of course lots of adoptable animals from rescues and shelters from all accross the tri-state area. Pawapalooza will raise funds for the shelter, which recently made the commitment to eliminate euthanasia of all treatable animals, meaning that resources of time and support, and especially of money, have become even further stretched than ever before. Providing the care necessary to save the lives of homeless pets in Boone County is an expensive endeavor, but one that the organization is committed to. Funds raised from Pawapalooza will be earmarked for the medical care for sick, injured, abused and orphaned animals and to support the volunteer, intern and foster care programs at BCAS. All proceeds go directly toward improving the lives of the animals.
