International Pet Travel Dog Travel Forum

I was wondering if anyone could help make this clear cut.
While I was in Israel, I rescued a dog there. I needed to come back to Canada quickly and left my little man with someone whom I believed to be trustworthy but who cannot take care of him and I'm afraid for him.

Long story short, I need to bring him here to Canada and I was wondering if anyone had shipped a dog alone via cargo from Israel to Canada, and if so, if they might tell me exactly what I need to do to get him here safely, legally and as cheap as possible. I am far from being a rich person but this little dog is my whole life!

He is about 22-23 pounds.
Please!! Can someone help me!?! He needs me and I feel utterly helpless, it's just crushing me
