Flying With Dogs Dog Travel Forum

Hello,

We are moving to Denmark in March and are bringing our (now) 55 pound puppy with us. He will have to travel in cargo, but Icelandair has a climate controlled section so I am not too worried about that. (well, a little bit, but I try not to)

My questions is about a good crate. It is a jungle out there. I dont want to get something that will break and possibly hurt him, but I also dont want to get one that is way too heavy (since he is already pushing the upper weight limit).

Does anyone have experience with crates? Can you recommend a certain brand or type? ANY help is appreciated, I am just really worried about this flight.
