Perfect for what it is...
Katherine in Houston-Texas
This hotel was easy to find had good parking. The check in was super quick and the front desk girl knew what what going on! She had just made cookies and offered us warm chocolate chips when we walked in. Our big black lab was given a nice scratch on the head and we went to our room. The decor was circa 1970's old tv plastic cups, but to have a place where my dog is welcome made me feel good. Lobby construction was complete and breakfast area was clean.. Got on the road well rested for day 2 of our drive. For the price we would stay in this hotel again.
Great Staff!

Hotel was clean, our dog was welcomed. Would stay there again for sure! Only inconvenience was that internet reception was poor in our room. Bonus, breakfast was great.
Clean and Friendly
Patti in Denver, CO
Easy check-in, courteous and accepted my Lab. The front lobby area was under constrution but the workers and staff worked to make it doable. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff very helpful in locating eating locations and recommendations.
Ok Travel Stop
Amanda in San Antonio, TX
Check in was easy - they had my reservation and accepted our 3 large dogs without hesitation. Overall, the rooms were clean - except there were wet used towels in the bathroom folded up on the shelf. We asked for replacements and received immediately. There was no construction in the lobby while we were there, though it didn't really look like any major upgrades had been recently done. This was an average stay but it worked well with our travel route (right off the highway) and was accommodating for the dogs.
Exceptionally average
Marilou in Royal Oak
Hotel itself exactly what you would expect from one of this nature -- fairly comfortable, hideous decor, clean enough, plastic cups, etc. However, the ENTIRE lobby was under construction so you are greeted to a giant mess. Plus, they had no record of my reservation because the computer was down and they didn't know I had a dog with me. The receptionist seemed very surprised even though I called the day before to confirm that I was bringing a dog. But she didn't hassle me. Due to computer being down though, she took my license and credit card to a back room to check me in, which I didn't appreciate. Then the first room I was given had a bed that was unmade. Went back down and was quickly given a new room, with apologies. Ice machines were only on two floors and both were out of order. The one on main floor was almost inaccessible due to the construction. Very annoying. Enough grass around the building for dogs to relieve themselves, but area is predictably unpleasant as it's along the freeway. The place will do if all you need is to crash with your dog. If you want anything more, pay more someplace else.
Under construction
Donald in West chicago, IL
The hotel was adequate, however, it seems that everytime we've booked a "pet friendly" hotel, there is construction work being done and we're put into a room that is under construction.
Intersting Place!
Sylvia in Jeromesville
We easily checked in & room was okay. When we entered it said to use a particular door but we couldn't since it didn't work. There was nice grassy areas to walk the dog. We never saw a place/hotel where no one seemed to know anything & yet worked at the hotel. While at the desk, asked about the menu advertised in the room for deilvery to hotel. It stated menu was available at the front desk. Desk clerk had no idea where there was a menu. Another family standing at the desk asked if the pool was suppose to be that color. Clerk had no idea & asked the man that came in from painting out at the pool. Neither had any idea. Another family at the front desk asked if there was a business center at the hotel. Clerk had no idea what the man was talking about & asked someone working at the hotel, also had no idea if there was a business center. No one seemed to know anything. We stayed someplace else on our return trip.
